What is a Suntrike?

The Suntrike is a unique machine designed to offer those interested in a lightweight, maneuverable and fuel-efficient vehicle an alternative to the 2 wheel standard scooters and motorcycles typically associated with these characteristics.

Suntrike is available in two colors (Red or Blue) and is street legal in all states. In most states it is licensed as a moped or scooter for its engine displacement of 49cc. The 49cc engine can push the Suntrike with two adults up to 38MPH with adequate acceleration. The Suntrike is not intended to drive on highways. It is best described as an in town commuter. In most states, vehicles under 49cc are not required to carry a lic plate but this varies from state to state so it is best that you verify with your states D.M.V.

Our suntrike offers the option of a 150cc engine up-grade, which is not intended to increase the top speed dramatically, but does afford the 350 lbs vehicle the acceleration to carry 2 adults or 400lbs up to 45-50MPH in a very short distance.

We can ship the Suntrike anywhere in the world and of course any corner of the US. We have a dealer network in place to better serve retail customers. The recent trend is to build products in the Far East. We refuse to follow that trend and have opted to build our Suntrike in our facilities in South America.
